This lesson will give students knowledge of the relevance between Flagstaff, AZ and NASA's Manned Apollo Program.

Lesson 2- Rocketed to the Moon!
Lesson
Overheads
Maps and Other Materials
----------
----------

In this lesson students will learn about rocketry by determining and controlling variables and creating graphical and written results. They will interpret and present results to their peers. They will also identify Newton's Laws as they relate to rockets.

Lesson 3- Impact Crater Morphology
Lesson
Overheads
Maps and Other Materials
----------

This lesson involves the modeling of impact craters and examination of factors that affect crater morphology (size and structure).

Lesson 4- The Gravitational Force and Your Weight: What's the Connection?
Lesson
Overheads
Maps and Other Materials
----------
----------

In this lesson students will solve equations using the universal law of gravitation and compare and contrast the gravitational force on different planetary bodies.

Lesson 5- Relative Size and Distance to the Moon
Lesson
Overheads
Maps and Other Materials
